COMMERCIAL PROJECT
In response to the evolving needs of modern workplaces, we took on the challenge of revitalizing a vacant and underutilized ground-floor unit into a vibrant tenant amenity lounge that redefines the concept of office amenities.
In today’s work environment, office buildings are no longer mere workspaces; they’ve evolved into hubs that foster connection, collaboration, creativity, and well-being. The demand for amenities, entertainment, and communal spaces has never been greater, in the quest to improve the overall experience of office buildings.
The initial space presented a design challenge with its dark, narrow layout and tall ceilings. Undeterred, we saw an opportunity to create a multifunctional space that would cater to the diverse needs of the building's tenants. Our vision was to provide a welcoming environment that seamlessly transitions between work and play, encouraging connections and collaboration among the building’s community.
To bring this vision to life, we divided the space into distinct zones that cater to various activities. On one end, a vibrant multi-entertainment area is situated, featuring a lounge space equipped with a curated selection of games such as foosball, pool, and shuffleboard tables, as well as an array of nostalgic board games. This space is designed to encourage social interaction and provide a fun-filled retreat for tenants looking to unwind during their breaks.
Directly adjacent is a café with a fully equipped kitchenette, as well as ample seating. This inviting space serves as a hub for casual meetings, impromptu collaborations, or simply a place to relax and recharge amidst the hustle and bustle of the workday.
At the opposite end, connected by a communal corridor, is a tenant library space that can be utilized for team meetings, or collaboration. Imagine individuals huddled over laptops, brainstorming, or diving into research. But what truly elevates this space is the multi-cluster light installation—a statement focal point that sparks inspiration.
